Neate wins at Clivey Ponds
WEIGHTS were fairly even in the Wilts Angling open match fished at Clivey
Ponds on Wednesday.
Pete Neate, from Holt, won with a carp catch weighing 3lb 12oz, taken on
pole-fished pellets.
Dave Shaw, of Trowbridge, was second with a carp catch weighing 26lb 12oz,
taken on pole-fished paste.
He was closely followed by Ian Willietts, of Bradford, with a carp catch
weighing 26lb 8oz, taken on pole-fished pellets.
Other placings: 4 Jim Escott, Melksham, 24lb; 5 Mick Gunning, Trowbridge,
22lb 4oz; 6 Dave Foster, Bradford, 21lb 6oz.
