Veteran tops at Viaduct Fishery
VIADUCT Fishery was in sparkling form for the Wednesday open match, with
carp feeding ravenously.
Veteran Stoke St Michael matchman Terry Bruton showed all his experience and
class to carry off top prize with a carp catch weighing 156lb 13oz, taken on
straight lead-fished pellets.
In-form Ray Lucas, of Haines Angling Frome, took second spot with another
carp catch weighing 133lb 10oz, taken on straight lead-fished pellets. He
was followed by Terry Senior, of The Army, with a carp catch weighing 127lb
3oz, taken on pole-fished pellets.
The silver fish prize went to Paul Greenwood, of Sensas Viaduct, with a
tench and skimmer catch weighing 63lb 14oz.
Other placings: 4 Paul Garrett, Maver Veals, 123lb 5oz; 5 Terry Leaney, Team
Sillybait, 111lb 4oz; 6 Steve Hutter, Fox Match RAF, 108lb 12oz.
