BATH hookers Rob Webber and Ross Batty have both extended their contracts, the club confirmed today.

England international Webber, 28, moved to Bath from Wasps ahead of the 2012/13 season and said: “There is a huge amount of drive and ambition at the club, which is fantastic to be part of.

"We are all striving to be the best we can be and I believe the set-up here – the coaching team, the support staff and the facilities – provides us with the best possible opportunity to do that.”

Batty is in his fifth year at Bath and added: "“I’m really happy to have extended my contract with Bath – I really enjoy being here and it’s a great club to be part of.

"This is my fifth season and it’s a great squad to work with every day. We’re on the right road, and I want to carry on being part of the journey we’ve started.”

Head coach Mike Ford added: “We’re building a really strong squad here at Bath, and the likes of Rob, Ross and Tom Dunn have been here from the beginning of that and completely understand what we’re trying to achieve.

"It goes without saying they are both talented, dynamic rugby players, but it’s also what they add off the field that makes them really important to us.”
