SAM Burgess scored his first try since his cross-code switch from rugby league as Bath United romped to a 44-5 win over London Irish in their Aviva A League fixture at the Rec last night.
Burgess, starting the match in the back row, went over for Bath's fourth try as he supported Will Homer just before half time.
The former South Sydney Rabbitohs ace also helped set up the third try of the evening, offloading to Olly Woodburn, who set up Darren Atkins for the score.
Horacio Agulla also crossed in the third period, while wing Richard Lane scored the first of his hat-trick for the home side.
Replacements Marcus Beer and Callum Waters also scored for Bath.
