  • IN NATIONAL inter-club championship team events Christie Miller and Clarrie Dunbar are still both running in three competitions.

They have to meet in a third round men’s O60s Double Rinks match by the end of the month.

  • ANDY Moore has reached the last 32 in the national champion of champions’ competition but in the ladies competition Christie Miller’s Eileen Hawker fell in the Area 30 final.

He now moves forward to the inter-area final and will play Area 29 winner Steve Hooper (Watchet) with a place in the last 16 at stake.

However, Hawker was unable to make it a champion of champions double for Christie Miller over Clevedon players as she was beaten in the ladies Area 30 final by England senior and junior international Stefanie Branfield (Clevedon) 21-11.
