SEMINGTON Rovers may have played their last-ever match in the S.K. Fruits Ltd, Chippenham & District Sunday League.

After a troubled campaign that had seen Semington struggle for much of it, they finally claimed their first Premier Division win thanks to a 2-1 success at Westbury Rangers.

Westbury, who opted to pull their positions for the game out of a hat took the lead on seven minutes but they were pegged back on 35 minutes when Sam Malone squared things up for Semington.

As the second period wore on it looked as if the spoils would be shared but with 10 minutes remaining Stuart Barber so many times in the past a Semington match winner popped up with the important goal that saw his team chalk up their 2-1 success.
