SINCE losing to Somerford back in October, Clive Black’s White Horse A side, along with leaders Prestige Bodyworks, are the in-form sides in Division One.

Westbury-based Horse, who are unbeaten in eight and have won five on the spin, visit a North Star A who they thumped 10-1 win in the reverse fixture, as they look to keep themselves in the promotion hunt.

Prestige Bodyworks, who boast a 10-point lead over Somerford at the top of the table, know that if they win their remaining three matches they will go to the top flight as champions.

Prestige, who have won seven on the bounce and have lost just once all season, face a potential banana skin in an out-of-sorts Goatacre CC side, who have won one of their previous eight matches but who beat their hosts 5-1 when the teams met in November.

Second-placed Somerford FC take on Kings Arms (All Cannings) in what will be their second of the meeting this season and, as Spike Chandler’s side won the previous encounter 3-0, they will fancy their chances of completing a double over Jim Wilson’s side.
