LAST term’s beaten finalists The Castle FC began this season’s competition with a 4-2 victory over fellow top flight side FC Constitutional.
Richard Macklin helped himself to a double for the Castle, Jack Fisher and Adam Heath added the others, while Tristan Roberts and Ben Hibberd replied.
Stonewood Sundays BFC beat Buttercross FC 4-2 in an all-three division affair. Andy Flynn, two, Ashley Groves and Ashley Barnett scored for Stonewood, Ben Butter-field and Scott Nash replied.
Second division Oakhill FC beat Melksham Forest Community Centre 8-1 with four goals from Clint Couzens, a Kieran Tarrant hat trick and one from Jordan Tarrant. Marc Pearce hit a consolation.
WG Parr Trophy Bremhill View FC thumped second division rivals White Horse (Sunday) B 8-0. Ben Redford, three, Billy Gleed, two, and goals for Kieron Gleed, Jake Gleed and Jack Williamson made up the eight.
