A THIRD straight victory for FC Lacock catapulted Ryan Ross’s side to the top by virtue of a better goal difference than The Grapes United.
Lacock beat Cavalier FC 2-0 with goals from Josh Hard and Toby Wells.
The Grapes are hot on Lacock’s heels after a 7-1 victory at Cannings Rangers. Stuart Barber, three, James Ponsford, two, Emilio Menghini and an own goal made up Grapes’ tally. Carl Jacobi replied.
Club 54 thumped Evana Designs 13-0. Craig Brown, Colin Brady, Marc Sheppard, Lee Mounty and Adam Potter scored two each with Aaron Cockerill, Simon Carter and Matt Bryant making it an unlucky 13 for Evana.
FC Bradford played most of the game with ten men but still beat Corsham Park FC 3-1. Jake Marshall missed from the spot after Josh Maguire’s deliberate handball led to his first half dismissal. Mark Robinson, two, and Steve Bryant scored for Bradford. Marshall got Park’s goal.
