AFC MELKSHAM kick-started their campaign with a first win of the season, 6-1 at an understrength White Horse A.
Dan Sandford gave Horse the lead, but Ian Dowell, two for Tony McElhone and Josh Robinson and Sean Fordham’s goal handed Melksham their win.
Defending champions The Castle FC finally got the defence of their title under way with a 2-0 victory at FC Constitutional, thanks to second half goals from Gary Campbell and Mike Tilley (penalty).
