PREMIER Division leaders Corsham CC Wildcats extended their unbeaten start in the top flight to six matches after coming from behind to beat a spirited Goatacre CC side 3-1.
A first-ever goal from Dan Price gave Goatacre their lead, but Chay Forester, who has been in fine form in front of goal in recent weeks, restored parity with his eighth goal to date before Leigh Rogers double before half time sealed the points.
A 9-1 victory for Prestige Bodyworks at local rivals Somerford FC preserved their unbeaten start.
Somerford’s goal was scored by keeper Adam Pitt when his huge punt upfield caught his opposite number off guard, but Adam O’Keeffe scored five and a first for the club from Ryan Bell, Matt Hooper’s penalty, Craig Fisher and Ryan Peck shared the others.
