TROWBRIDGE Town Supporters Club came from behind to beat Talbot FC 6-4 to register their first win of the season.
Nathan West’s first-half double put Talbot in charge and Matt Law score two more for Talbot in the second period.
But Dan Price, with a hat-trick on his debut, Jordan Pinder, Sean O’Brien and a goal for another debutant Max Wilcox wrapped it up.
Christian Malford suffered one of their most humiliating defeats for a long time when they were beaten 14-4 by leaders Potterne CFC, who took their goals for tally to 25 in two matches.
Ben House with five, Neil Clark’s quartet, Craig Townsend twice, Lee Sanders, Simon Drewitt and Craig Fisher’s penalty made up Potterne’s tally. Ben Munns, with two penalties, Stuart Kemp and Steve Warner replied.
FC Pig & Whistle threw away a 2-0 lead at local rivals Melksham Cosmos.
Ashley Fletcher’s double set the Pig up for an unlikely win which they were denied as Alex Shaftoe and Chris Berrelly levelled.
North Star FC lost ground on the top after suffering their first loss of the campaign 2-0 at home to Pheasant FC. Richie Bolter’s first-half double won it.
A 2-1 victory for Sportzcoach Dragonz United at home to Sutton Benger was earned by goals from Ross Mather and Dan Sibley, who scored either side of James Weston’s goal for Benger.
