THE only fixture in Division One that beat the weather was the game at Awdry Avenue, Melksham where a resurgent FC Pig & Whistle hosted a North Star side who, after two defeats in two of their last three games, have seen their promotion challenge come off the rails in recent weeks.

Another excellent performance from the hosts earned them a 7-1 triumph which stretched their unbeaten run to five matches.

Ashley Fletcher was the star man for the Pig, the in-form striker scoring a double hat-trick, five of which came in a first half that saw Jack Woolsgrove add a sixth.

A Mark Bridger own goal gave Star their consolation before Fletcher grabbed his sixth.
