FC LACOCK moved into third place in the third division table after they managed to claim a seventh win in 11 games to date.

Their latest success was a 6-1 win at Cavalier FC.

Ryan Ross and Josh Hard scored two each, a first goal for the club for Zach Preston and a first goal in over two months from Jordan O’Dywer’s sealing the villagers win.

A 2-0 victory for FC Bradford at Corsham Park FC saw Wayne Duggan’s side complete a double over their hosts at Leafy Lane.

Mark Robinson’s delightful 30-yard lob in the first half, along with Ashley Styles' second-half strike, sealed maximum points for Duggan’s side, who now sit second in the standings.

Evana Designs suffered a 13-0 loss at the hands of Club 54 when the sides met back in September so they will see their 3-3 draw in the return match as a great result.

However they will also be thinking what could have been as they led 3-0 at one stage before Club 54 snatched a draw from what looked like almost certain defeat.

Milo Pearson, Niall McCaughan and Jacob Applegate gave Evana their three-goal lead. Marc Sheppard, Mark Reynolds and a Lee Mounty penalty earned Club 54 a hard-fought-for share of the spoils.

Tom Beard may have put in a man of the match performance for London Road scoring all five of their goals at home to Trowbridge Wanderers, but his effort was all in vain as Wanderers ran out 15-5 winners.

Kieran Ramsey and Jack Parker bagged four goals apiece for Matt Rusling’s side.

Elliot Hinton and Carl Mackness scored two each, with Dylan Turner, Jake Samuel and Simon Parfitt’s singles making up their 15.

Leaders The Grapes United collected a ninth straight victory thanks to their 5-0 triumph over Cannings Rangers that sees them up a healthy three-point lead over their closest challengers, FC Bradford and FC Lacock who have both played more games than the pole sitters.

Stuart Barber’s hat-trick and a goal each for Nick Ridout and half time substitute Emilio Menghini made up the five.

Westbury Conservative Club made it four wins out of four at Leighton Sports Centre. Their 2-1 victory over Buttercross also saw them avenge their 6-3 loss from the middle of October.

Owen Hunter scoring both goals for the Cons’ club, his from the penalty spot. James Flynn’s penalty for Buttercross made for a nervy finale where Jamie Lardner missed a sitter for the Butter Boys.
