PHEASANT'S first match in over a month saw them visit a FC Pig & Whistle side, who were looking for an immediate return to winning ways after a 4-2 loss to Talbot last Sunday but saw their five-match unbeaten run in Division One brought to an end.

The Pig may have lost for a second week running but they played their part in a nine-goal thriller that was won with the final kick of the game as Pheasant snatched a 5-4 win.

Joe Hylands saw his opener for Pheasant cancelled out by Dan Neale.

Richie Bolter reclaimed the lead for Pheasant who them opened up a 4-1 half-time lead thanks to goals from Adam Taylor and a second from Bolter.

Rob O’Harrow, Jack Woolsgrove and Ollie Woodland got Pig & Whistle back on level terms before Hylands struck with the last kick of the game to hand Pheasant victory.

After suffering their first defeat of the campaign last weekend, FC Buscots were looking to avoid another potential banana skin to their promotion challenge when they visited Sportzcoach Dragonz United on Sunday morning.

Buscots, who coasted to a 6-2 win when the teams met in September, did so again courtesy of a 7-1 triumph over a Dragonz side who played the game with 10 men.

Luke Enderby scored from the penalty spot to put Buscots in front.

Ali Bradley doubled their lead and a tap-in from Adam Bewley made it 3-0.

Jamie Walters' first goal for Buscots put them 4-0 up before Rich Allum pulled a goal back for Sportzcoach.

Phil Little added number five and further goals from Walters and Enderby who also missed a penalty sealed victory for Buscots.
