SOMERFORD were unable to repeat their heroics of last weekend that saw them with just 10 men come from 3-0 down to beat Westbury Rangers 4-3.
A week on from that memorable performance the villagers took on SK Fruits Ltd sponsored Chippenham League, Premier Division leaders Prestige Bodyworks.
and as expected it was a case of after the Lord Mayor’s show for Somerford as slumped to a 7-1 loss.
A first goal of the season from Tom Bentley put Prestige in front and then Adam O’Keeffe added a second before Mark Nolan struck a 30 yard screamer from 3-0.
A penalty from O’Keeffe gave him his second and Prestige their fourth of the half.
Substitutes Stuart Field, with his first of the season, and Mike Few, who lash home a long range effort, scored after O’Keeffe had completed his hat trick for Prestige with what was his 18th goal of the campaign - Matt Holdaway replied for Somerford.
