AFTER 13 attempts to claim a first win of the season, White Horse B finally did it as they stunned North Wiltshire 3-1 in Division Two.

George Ingram headed home the White Horse opener before Dale Rowland doubled the lead from the penalty spot.

Scott Austin halved the deficit for North Wilts prior to half time but a second half effort from Chris Adams wrapped up a morale boosting win for Chris Webber’s side.

On a day of local derbies the match at the Beeches saw Miller Sports B defeat Melksham Forest Community Centre 3-1.

Josh Thornton’s goal for Miller Sports separated the teams at the interval before Jay Bowers headed Forest level early in the second period.

However, debutant Joe Read and Nathan Drew earned Miller the three points. Oakhill eased to a 3-1 success over Old Road thanks to a Brad Davies own goal, a strike from Robbie Burton and a Tom Webb effort – an own goal from Jack Henwood got Old Road on the scoresheet.

A 4-0 win for Rowdy Cow Rowde over The Mallard saw them extend their unbeaten home record to eight matches.

Bradley Whitbread’s goal on three minutes set Rowde up nicely for the remainder of the game before Joe Merritt’s cross come shot on 18 minutes double the advantage.

Whitbread rifled home in the 40th minute for his second and Rowde’s third and then Matt Lever’s thunderbolt 10 minutes from time made up the quartet.

The top two, Worton & Cheverell and Bremhill View, shared a six-goal thriller.

Kieron Gleed put Ben Redford’s side 1-0 to good, before Kyle Davies restored parity for Worton.

However a second from Gleed gave Bremhill a 2-1 lead at the interval.

Worton got back on level terms thanks to a second from Davies before Bremhill player-manager Redford was dismissed.

Worton got their noses in front, Matt Minnis put them 3-2 up but Billy Gleed headed home at the death to snatch a draw for Bremhill.
