WITH their own pitch at the Beeches unplayable Miller Sports B moved their Division Two fixture to Box Recreation Ground, home of opponents of Bath Road FC and the venue where they had beaten their hosts 4-3 on the opening day of the season

However it was an in-form Bath Road side who took the points on this occasion with a 4-2 win that stretches their unbeaten run to six matches.

Tom Sigee saw his opener for Bath Road cancelled out by Josh Thornton, whose goal took the teams into the interval locked together at one apiece.

Bath Road regained the lead through Aaron Gardiner and a second from Sigee put them 3-1 up before Nathan Drew hit a wonderful strike from 25 yard to reduce the arrears for Miller Sports.

But his goal counted for nothing as Tom Sigee fired home his third of the contest to wrap up a fifth win of the season for his team, four of which have come in the last six games.

Unbelievably, Melksham Forest Community Centre’s pitch at Awdry Avenue was passed fit for their contest with basement side White Horse (Sunday) B who they had beaten 6-0 just three weeks ago.

But the return match saw the visitors fare much better at they claimed a shared of the spoils thanks to a 1-1 draw.

Chris Adams' third goal in as many games gave White Horse a 1-0 interval lead and with time slowly ticking away it looked as if they were about to claim only their second win of the season. But with five minutes left Tom Stocks struck an equaliser for Melksham Forest.

A 5-1 victory for FC North Wiltshire at Oakhill FC saw them complete league double over their hosts who they had beaten 4-1 when the sides met back in November.

Goals from Dan Deacon and James Bamford gave North Wilts a two goal interval lead. The second half saw Scott Austin bagged himself a brace and Deacon claim his second of the morning that took his tally to the season to 22 before Rob Jefferies netted for Oakhill in the last minute.
