WITH their pitch at Meadow Lane unavailable Westbury Rangers travelled to Sands Lane, Rowde for their second meeting of the season with last term's S.K. Fruits Ltd sponsored Chippenham & District Sunday League Premier Division winners The Castle FC.

Having beaten Rangers 9-0 at the start of the month Tom Perkins' side completed a double over the basement side but their 3-1 win was a lot closer than expected.

Westbury played 70 minutes with just 10 players following an injury to Nathan Hallett but held their opponents to a goalless first 45 minutes.

After the break as Westbury started to tire Gary Campbell forced the opening for Castle and Richard Macklin doubled their lead.

Phil Lewis's first goal for a Rangers side that included three 16-year-olds got the back in the game but his effort was just a consolation as Doug Dickson’s first league goal of the campaign wrapped up victory for that Castle which moved them into second place in the table.
