SEMINGTON FC chalked up their first win in Division Three since returning to the league. A 4-2 success at Fox & Hounds (Warminster) was just what the villagers wanted after the recent loss of equipment from their Little Marsh home.

Dan Rimmer hit home a loose ball in the area to give Semington the lead, Carmeron Evans deflected effort made it 2-0 before Jamie Kinchin replied for Fox & Hounds.

Rich Allum free kick regained a two-goal cushion for Semington and Ricky King almost manged to miss when clean through but scuffed the ball home for 4-1. Lyke Ichiebuka scored a second consolation for Fox & Hounds.

A missed penalty proved costly for Forest AFC who, after last week's surprise victory over first division Pheasant FC in the WG Parr Trophy, were given a reality check by 91-92 FC who, after falling behind, fought back to claim a 2-1 win.

Steve Badger’s strike just prior to half tie gave Forest the lead. Jordan Field got 91-92 back on level terms and Sam Miller put them 2-1 ahead before Daryl Ward missed a chance to earn Forest a draw when he failed to hit the target from the penalty spot.

Calne United may have suffered a fourth straight defeat, but they are certainly improving with every game as they look to break their duck since joining the league at the start of the season.

Calne led against Warminster Wanderers but suffered heartache when a late deflected goal had their opponents a 2-1 triumph.

Matt Fenn gave Calne a half-time lead which was cancelled out by Ryan Eley whose effort from a corner took a deflection to square things up on 47 minutes.

Three minutes from time Darren Sayles atoned for a first half penalty miss when his 30 yard drive deflected in to make it 2-1 and deny a battling Calne side a deserved point.

Devizes-based Cavalier FC moved up to second place following their 2-1 triumph over a Westbury Conservative Club who can’t seem to buy a win away from the Leighton Sports Centre home.

Roger Wiltshire and a first goal for the club from Jon Cole earned Cavalier a 2-0 lead at the break. Westbury Cons’ came out fighting in the second half and although Frankie McEntegart got them back in the game it couldn’t fire them to victory as Cavalier defended well to hold onto their lead and the three points that went with it.

Trowbridge side The Dursley Arms continue to show little mercy to their fourth division opponents, on this occasion it was the turn of Evana Designs to suffer a mauling at the hands of Joe Kirkpatrick’s side who ran out 9-1 victors.

A four-timer from Martin Johnson took his tally to 10 in the last three games, Connor McKay, Harry Smith, Ferris Lamrabet, Alex De Silva and Kirkpatrick himself shared the other goals. Ben Trebble replied for Evana.

A 4-0 defeat for White Horse B at home to FC St George condemned the Westbury side to their first loss of the season. After a goalless first half a Craig Sheppard treble and Mike Payne’s single earned St George victory.
