WITH Rowdy Cow Rowde unable to raise a team for their trip to Division One leaders Corsham Centre Youth, it presented Bremhill View FC with the chance to move level with the Centre at the summit.

All they needed to do was to beat the Pheasant.

A 5-3 win saw Bremhill duly oblige but with the victors 4-1 up at the break they let things slip in the second half as Pheasant came back really well. Jake Brand, Billy Gleed, Mike Jenkins and Kieron Gleed shared Bremhill first half goals, Richie Bolter replying for Pheasant.

Alex Lewis added a fifth for Bremhill and two further excellent goals from Bolter saw him complete a fine hat-trick for the losers.

A serious injury late in the match between Calne BFC and Somerford FC forced the match to be abandoned on 81 minutes with the former leading 4-2.

Aaron Clegg, who was taken to hospital with a back injury, and Aaron Tyler had scored two apiece for Calne with Matt Spear and Chris Cox getting on the scoresheet for Somerford.

Calne also lost Matt Richards in the first half after damaging his cruciate ligaments.
