Division Three basement side Calne United trailed high-scoring table toppers The Dursley Arms 1-0 at half time, but the second half of their meeting at Beversbrook saw normal service resumed as Dursley found their scoring boots to run out 8-1 winners.

Martin Johnson made it 13 in five games with a hat-trick, Joe Grant, Jake Hiscocks, Jamie Hughes, Alex De Silva and Leon Greenland shared the others. Matt Lang replied for Calne.

91-92 FC played the whole of their game against Semington FC with nine players so their was little surprise that the final outcome was a little one-side with the latter winning 11-1.

Jordan Field scored the consolation for 91-92, while second-half substitute Lee Stripe top scoring for Semington with a 15-minute hat-trick after coming on.

Chris Dore started and finished the scoring with, Ed McCormack, Bobby Mitchell, Mike Falzon, Rich Allum, Ricky King and Ashley Whittaker also getting on the score sheet.

Missed chances almost came back to haunt Cavalier FC who were thankful to Jeremy Wiltshire’s late strike as the took maximum points from Warminster Wanderers who with time running out looked as if they were about to upset the odds by taking a point from the joint-leaders before suffering a 2-1 loss.

Anthony Butler saw his first-half effort cancelled out by a late Jamie Howse penalty, but with time running out and after being denied by the woodwork on five occasions and Adam Bewley having missed a couple of sitters Jeremy Wiltshire rifled home a sublime winner for the Devizes-based side.

Evana Designs are still searching for their second success of the campaign after Paul Revening’s side were beaten 6-2 on home soil by an ever-improving FC St George side.

Niall Orchard with his first-ever goal and Ben Trebble found the net for Evana. Craig Sheppard with a four-timer and a goal each for Nigel Chantley and Reece Collyer on his debut sealed victory for the Warminster-based newcomers.

Jason Cole’s first goal for Forest AFC saw him restore parity for Steve Wakefield’s side after they had fallen behind at home to Westbury Conservative Club who had led through a Steve Ball goal.

Cole’s goal was just a consolation as second-half strikes for Steve Knight and Ball with his second of the match earned Cons’ a 3-1 win.
