WITH both Westbury Rangers and Potterne unable to raise teams for their matches against respective opponents Cons FC and Corsham CC Wildcats, it meant that the only Premier Division fixture on Sunday saw Melksham Cosmos host Goatacre CC FC.
The latter claimed an 8-1 win to move to the top of the table.
Goals from Alex Lewis and Tom Boakes put Goatacre 2-0 up, but when Mark Bowsher pulled a goal back for Cosmos prior to half time it looked as if they were back in the game.
After the break Goatacre ran riot as they netted six unanswered goals.
Boakes scored another two to complete his treble. Alex Lewis added a second, a goal each for Darren Holcombe, Simon Dance and Christian Baker made up the eight.
