FOREST AFC beat Evana Designs 3-1 to register on their second third division win of the season and immediately dedicated the victory to former manager Steven “Wacker” Wakefield who passed away in late October.

Danny Ashwood, Steven Jamieson and Jason Cole finding the net for the Foresters who will be looking to build on the win when they host 91-92 next weekend. Troy Thomas scored Evana’s consolation.

A 4-0 victory for Westbury Conservative Club at Fox & Hounds (Warminster) earned them a fifth win on the bounce and their seventh in their ninth games to date which is already one more that they managed in 20 outings last term.

Things may have been different had Jayson Stokes not missed a first-half penalty for the Fox & Hounds who after holding their guests for the first 45 minutes conceded four second-half goals.

Scott Ball bagged himself a hat-trick, which was his fifth of the season, Frankie McEntegart’s single made up the winner’s quartet.

With leaders Dursley Arms in Knockout Cup action Semington FC, who face Joe Kirkpatrick’s side next weekend, closed the gap at the top of the table to one point thanks to a 6-0 win at Little Marsh over Warminster Wanderers.

Semington led 2-0 at the break thanks to a brace from Rich Allum, one of which was a brilliant 25 yard free kick.

Substitute Eddie Janion made it 3-0 before Allum completed his hat-trick. Janion made it 5-0 with his second of the morning and the scoring was completed by Allum who took his tally for the game to four.

Although he never found the net, Chris Dore had a fine game for the winners as he had a helping hand in four of the goals.
