AFTER suffering defeat in their opening nine matches, Calne United look to have turned the corner.

A4-1 win over Forest AFC saw them climb off the foot of the Division Three table for the first time this season and it also gave them their third victory from their last four outings.

First-half goals from Matt Fenn, Mike Hedges and Soreanu Cosmin had the match won for Calne.

Steve Badger's goal may have given Forest a glimmer of hope but any hopes of a comeback wher ended when Cosmin added his second of the morning to seal the win.

Cavalier FC ended a four-match winless run by beating White Horse (Sunday) B 7-0 at Leighton Sports Centre.

Adam Bewley and a goal on his debut for Leo Whitehead put Cavalier 2-0 up in the first half.

Roger Wiltshire added a third before Tom Brazier bagged his first goal for the Cavy and another debutant Tom Evans took it to 5-0.

A second from Whitehead and a Matt Hale single made up the seven.
