WG Parr Trophy winners Rowdy Cow Rowde became the first team to take a point off runaway leaders Corsham Centre Youth.

The cup winners, who were beaten by Bath Road on Thursday evening, had to come from 2-0 to claim a deserved 2-2 draw.

Goals from James Lye and Simon Gray for the Centre were wipe out as first Ben Tylee reduced the deficit for Rowde and Steven House earned them a point.

Somerford put the disappointment of last week’s WG Parr Trophy final loss behind them as a 3-3 draw against Calne BFC kept them within touching distance of Bath Road FC who currently occupy the second automatic promotion spot.

Robbie Burton (Somerford) and Paul Green (Calne) shared first-half goals to set up an entertaining second period where once again the goals were shared.

Nathan West and Dave Herring. with his first of the season, found the net for Calne, a second from Burton along with an Ashley Monaghan effort sealed a share of the points for Somerford.
