A 2-1 VICTORY for Bremhill View at home to Somerford saw Ben Redford’s side earn the point they needed to take the runners-up place behind champions Corsham Centre Youth.

After a goalless first Bremhill fell behind to a Robbie Burton goal, however Bremhill had the chance to get back on level terms but Kieron Gleed blew the chance when he missed from the penalty spot.

Gleed then atoned for miss when he score from the spot to square things up at 1-1.

Gleed then went from zero to hero and he blasted home a free kick that earned Bremhill victory and with it a third piece of silverware in the last two seasons.

Local rivals Pheasant FC and Bath Road FC shared the goals and the points from a six-goal thriller.

Bath Road went in front thanks to an excellent finish from Tim Knight who curled the ball into the bottom corner from 20 yards. Josh Legg got Pheasant level towards to end of the first half.

Nick Manifold, who provided the assist for Bath Road’s opener, was also the provider for their second which saw his free kick find Knight at the back post to score to second of the morning.

Pheasant then drew level courtesy of a second for Legg who volleyed home from 20 yard and then went 3-2 up when Matt King capitalized on a goal keeping error.

Bath Road earned their point when James Hernandez was upended by Callum Chamberlain in the area and Tim Knight coolly tucked the ball away to claim his hat-trick and make it 3-3.
