A 3-2 VICTORY for Cavalier at home to Fox & Hounds (Warminster) ensured Dave Young’s side finished above their opponents in the final standings of the season.

Adam Bewley’s goal for Cavalier separated the teams at half time.

Jon Cole doubled the lead when his cross somehow eluded the keeper to make it 2-0.

Chris Ellis pulled a goal back for Fox & Hounds when his header beat keeper Leo Whitehead who then kept his team in front with a couple of tremendous close-range stops before Michael Stone made it 3-1.

Sam Tomes scored a second for Fox & Hounds that set up a nervous finale for Cavalier, who managed to hang on for the win.

Westbury Conservative Club had a busy Sunday as the club played two fixtures, the first of which was against Evana Designs and ended with them losing 4-0.

League champions The Dursley Arms were next up for the Cons’ Club and it was little surprise that after trailing 2-1 at the interval tired legs finally took their toil as the Dursley ran out 8-1 winners.

Ryan Underwood netted the consolation for the Cons’, Jamie Jordan with four top scored for the Dursley, Martin Johnson struck twice and a goal each for Connor McKay and Dan Jordan made up the eight.
