AS EVANA Designs, Paul Revening’s side took maximum points from Calne United on the two occasions they met in Division Three last term.

A change of name to AFC Rowde also saw a change of fortune as Calne managed to end Rowde's winning sequence thanks to a 2-2 draw.

After a number of seasons in the Sunday League wilderness, Box Rovers made a winning start on their return.

They secured a 9-0 victory over a White Horse B side who played the whole game with just 10 players and only trailed by the odd goal after 45 minutes.

Andy Smith’s goal separated the sides at half time prior to Box running riot in the second half.

Justin Flowers top scored with a hat-trick, Jon Bazley netted twice and a goal each from Adam Taylor, James Garner and Scott Fleming made up the winners' tally.

Fox & Hounds (Warminster) travelled to Forest AFC looking to claim a hat-trick of victories over their Melksham-based rivals who they beat 4-0 and 4-1 last term.

Once again it was the visitors to Awdry Avenue who emerged triumphant thanks to a 5-1 success.

Alan Hitchcock and a double from Myles Woodward put Fox & Hounds 3-0 up at the interval.

Brentley Roberts reduced the arrears for Forest, but any hope of a second revival was shortlived as goals for Jamie Kinchin and Jayson Stokes sealed victory for the Fox & Hounds.

Two of the League’s four newcomers met at Beversbrook where a reformed North Star Club hosted Trowbridge-based Faded FC.

For a short while things looked good for the Star who took the lead through Alex Maslen but after that things went downhill as Faded fought back to claim an 8-1 win.

Adil Bakali restored parity for Faded in the first half, however the damage was done in the second period as Faded ran riot, scoring seven unanswered goals with three of them going to Matt Minnis. Dan Jones and Adam Bochouma made up the tally with two goals apiece.
