PRIOR to their meeting at Leighton Sports Centre, White Horse (Sunday) A and Bath Road had conceded 50 goals between them so it was little surprise that their Premier Division clash produced nine goals.

An injury-time strike earned the hosts a 5-4 success.

James Hernandez, Matt White and Terry Askew were on target for Bath Road in a first half that also saw Kayleb Gooderson score a debut goal for the White Horse.

A second from Gooderson pegged Bath Road back even further before Ethan Jones opened his account for Bath Road to put them 4-2 in front.

Nick Mead’s penalty and Kane Scott’s goal saw parity restored for White Horse and with the final whistle looming Jordan Gullis popped up with the unlikely winner for Clive Black’s side.

Since suffering an opening day loss to Bremhill View, Corsham CC Wildcats have turned things around, a 7-1 victory over Audley FC was their fourth straight win in all competitions.

Adam Mitchell and Sam Thomson put the Wildcats 2-0 before Paul Mannings got Audley back in the game with a well-placed looping header.

Any thoughts of a second-half Audley revival were soon ended as Chay Forrester bagged his first on the way to a hat-trick and a goal each for Darrin Moss and Leigh Rogers completed the win.

After picking up their first win of the campaign last weekend Rowdy Cow Rowde hosted a Corsham Youth side, who were unable to roll out a team for last week’s meeting with Audley FC.

However James Whitehead manage to get a team for their trip to Nurstead Road and they returned home triumphant courtesy of a 2-1 success.

Simon Gray and a first goal for the club from Max Bray scoring for Corsham, George Bettles replied.
