A 6-2 WIN for North Star Club at home to White Horse (Sunday) B saw them clinch their first win since returning to the league at the start of the season and it also lifts Liam Westland’s team away from the bottom of Division Three.

Star fell behind to a Gavin Collier goal but were 3-1 down at the break as a Paul Green double and Tom King goal put the hosts on top.

Joe Childs, Jake Mizen and Reece Allison added the second-half goals for the winners with Antony Holton scoring a debut goal for the Horse in reply.

Forest AFC may have been on the wrong end of a 4-0 score line away at leaders Box Rovers, however Lee Fordham’s team were more than pleased with their performance as they made their hosts work for their fourth win of the campaign.

Liam Fullam and Scott Fleming’s goals gave Box a 2-0 interval, with Fullam adding a second after the break and Justin Flowers completing the quartet.

Trowbridge-based Faded FC remain within three points of table topping Box Rovers, making the meeting of the top two teams next weekend an early season six-pointer.

Matt Minnis took his tally for three league starts to 10 with a three timer, Zack Manna added the other with what was his first goal for the club as they claimer a 4-1 victory over Warminster Wanderers, for whom Pete Daniels was the lone marksman.
