AFTER suffering defeat in their opening four matches, FC Bradford at last claimed their first win of the season.

A2-1 success away at Sutton Benger also moved them of the foot of the Division One table.

It was Benger who made the best possible start with Simon McCarthy putting them in front.

Bradford’s man of the match Josh Maguire set up Aaron Thornton who made it 1-1 at the interval.

After the break Thornton scored his and Bradford's second from a Ashley Styles assist to earned Bradford what will be a morale-boosting victory.

Calne BFC and Oakhill shared eight goals and the points following their thrilling 4-4 draw at Beversbrook, a result that gave the latter their first point.

Jamie-Lloyd Davies netted the opening two Calne goals, but they were pegged back when Tim Hibbert opened his account for Oakhill.

A third for Davies made it 3-1, back came Oakhill who got themselves back in the game via a Conner Laidlaw goal.

The game turned on its head in the second period as Kez Nickless-Mooney levelled matters and then put Oakhill 4-3 up with his first-ever goals for the club.

With Calne now on the back foot, it was their turn to find an equaliser which arrived when Sam Barton bagged his first-ever goal for the club to leave the final score locked at four apiece.

Westbury Rangers remain top of the table thanks to a 2-0 victory at a Corsham Oak side who were looking to claim a third straight win.

Corsham held their guests at Leafy Lane for 40 minutes until Jon Hogarth broke the deadlock.

The hosts had the chance to draw level on 65 minutes but Aaron Masson missed from the penalty spot which meant when Craig Tucker netted Rangers second on 78 minutes the points were signed, sealed and delivered back to Meadow Lane.

Lavington Rangers may well have lost manager Pete Drew following their 8-0 loss at Pheasant FC.

Drew who has been the driving force behind the side, was let down by the no-show of a number of players.

Josh Legg led the scorers with a hat-trick, Richie Bolter with two, and singles from Pete Fisher, Tim Knight and Rich Hudson made up the eight.

As expected, The Grapes United and FC Lacock dished up a feast of football at Christie Miller which Grapes eventually won 3-1.

Although Lacock had their opponents under a lot of pressure it was Grapes who took the led midway through the half when Nathan Walker slotted home from the penalty spot.

Lacock squared things up, when Jack Woolsgrove drove home a brilliantly-taken free kick.

Grapes got their noses back in front, courtesy of a second from Walker.

Mikki Harrison finally killed off any hopes of a Lacock comeback when he made it 3-1 just after the hour mark.
