A 7-3 VICTORY for FC North Wiltshire at home to The Mallard not only saw them avenge their WG Parr Trophy loss from earlier this term, but also saw them move up to third place in the Division Two standings.

North Wilts led 4-1 at the break, James Bamford giving the lead, Titus Eusablo making it 2-0 before Aaron Frid scored his first ever Mallard goal to reduce the arrears.

Billy Cookson and David Biggs netted to put the hosts in charge at the break.

Lee Cradock and Dave Lazenby got on the score sheet for Mallard in the second half, but their goals were in vain as further goals from Biggs and Cookson with their second of the morning and Danny Williams wrapped up the points for North Wiltshire.

Semington FC who were held to a surprise draw by Christian Malford last weekend welcomed a FC Pig & Whistle who a week prior had registered their first point since March 2015 to their Little Marsh ground.

For a short while, when the Pig led 2-0, it looked as if Andy Allen’s side may at last end their winless run, however Semington turned things around to run out 7-4 victors.

A Shaun Heathcote double gave Pig & Whistle a 2-0 lead midway through the first half which seemed to spark Semington into life and they were back on level terms before half time, Dan Rimmer and Ed McCormack scoring.

Semington edged ahead early in the second half via second from McCormack, Dan Rimmer then scored twice to make it 5-2 and completed his hat trick.

Mike Stevens and Ricky King finished off the scoring for an impressive comeback win for Semington. Craig Berry scored a third for the Pig but by then it was game over.
