A NICK Ridout-inspired performance saw Melksham-based The Grapes United FC replace an inactive Westbury Rangers at the top of Division One.
Ridout was in red-hot form as he scored all five goals in his team’s 5-2 victory over Oakhill.
Three of Ridout’s five came in a first half that saw Grapes lead 3-0 before Nathan Merrett netted for Oakhill.
Connor Laidlaw added Oakhill’s second.
FC Bradford came out on top in a seven-goal thriller at home to a Calne BFC outfit who had beaten Bradford 6-1 back in September.
On this occasion a 4-3 win saw Wayne Duggan’s side take the spoils.
Bradford were 2-0 up at half-time, goals from Jimmy Meade with his first of the season and Aaron Thornton seemingly putting them in charge.
Calne got back on level terms with Jamie-Lloyd Davies scoring both goals for 2-2.
Josh Maguire regained the lead for Bradford, but back came Calne to equalise again, Stuart Windsor’s penalty making it 3-3.
With 10 minutes remaining Phil Lewis netted what proved to be Bradford’s winner.
