IT IS  now starting to look as if it will be a two-horse race for the Division Three title this season, with Box Rovers currently top of the pile.

Their most likely challengers will be Faded FC who kept the pressure on the villagers with an 8-2 win at AFC Rowde.

Simon Trebble’s first Rowde goal and Luke Thomson’s penalty was little consolation for Rowde who were no match for Faded’s rampant front line, led by Matt Minnis, whose hat-trick took his tally to 30 in all competitions.

Nassen Abourachid netted twice, Dan Jones, Zack Manna and a first goal for Steve Evans made up the eight.

North Star Club moved into third place thanks to a 7-2 home success over Fox & Hounds (Warminster) side who actually opened the scoring.

Drew Eglin’s goal was cancelled out by Tom King.

Zack Surry, who was later sent off, gave North Star the lead in the second period. A second for King, Josh Taylor and an Alan Hitchcock own goal made it 5-1.

Jamie Yard reduced Warminster's deficit from the penalty spot only for Paul Green to score from the spot for the Star before Dan Allison made up the winners tally.

Box Rovers remain at the summit after defeating The Foresters Arms 4-2, which was a much improving showing for the Melksham-based side as they had been beaten 9-0 by Box earlier in the season.

Kalem Marsh on his debut for Foresters scored both of their goals. Liam Fullam, Andy Smith and an Adam Taylor treble saw the leaders claim an eighth straight win.
