IN AN entering Division Two contest at Stanley Park, Semington came out 5-3 victors over Old Road FC.

In the first half Semington were well on top and went into half-time with a 2-0 advantage.

Chris Dore knock down from a corner saw Rich Allum fire in the opener, a great passing move between Bobby Mitchell and Dore was finished off by Mitchell for 2-0.

Old Road started to play a lot better and reduced the deficit through Zak Sallows exquisite finish into the top corner from 20 yards.

Old Road then had a chance to draw level when the keeper spilled the ball but Sallows put his effort just wide.

Semington then went 3-1 up, with Rich Allum sweeping home from 18 yards.

Old Road came right back and a great strike from Matty Poole reduced the gap.

Dan Rimmer then scored to make it 4-2 after a lovely through ball from Allum, Rimmer cut in on his right foot and finished in the bottom corner.

With five minutes remaining, Poole got another goal back for 4-3, however Chris Dore finished the scoring after heading home from a corner in the last minute.

Cavalier hosted North Wiltshire in what promised to be a close game and the contest at Nurstead Road lived up to expectations as the sides fought out a 2-2 draw.

It didn't take long for the first goal as Billy Cookson picked up the ball and went on a great individual ran, going through four Cavalier players before sliding the ball beyond the advancing keeper.

Cavalier didn't take long to restore parity, Adam Bewley finally breaking his scoring duck since returning from injury. Shortly after Bewley found the net again to give the Cavalier a deserved 2-1 lead at the break.

The second half saw Cavalier miss a host of chances, with the opposition spared by the woodwork.

Cavalier’s missed chances came back to haunt them when a Toby Watts 25-yard thunderbolt from gave keeper Graeme Webster no chance and tied the game at 2-2.

Malford ended a three-match losing run with a 3-1 victory away at fellow relegation-battled The Mallard who had beaten them 5-2 back in October.

Malford trailed 1-0 at the break to a Richard Hudson goal, but turned things around in the second period thanks to an Ashley Fletcher treble.
