A 5-2 VICTORY for Faded FC at Forest AFC saw them close within three points of Division Three leaders Box Rovers, who were without a game.
Goals from Zack Manna and Matt Minnis put Faded 2-0 up in the first half and two goals from Dan Jones in the second period took it to 4-0 before Paul Cuthbertson bagged a 25-yard thunderbolt to reduce the gap.
Josh Thornton came off the bench and added a second for Forest who looked to be coming back into the game.
Any hopes of a late revival were ended by Matt Minnis whose second of the morning sealed victory for Faded.
Calne United and Warminster Wanderers fought out a trilling 3-3 draw as the latter came from 2-0 and 3-2 down to claim a share of the points.
Josh Moss and Josh Eades goals saw Calne lead 2-0 before Jamie Howse and Alex Bates restored parity for Warminster.
Jordan Stewart regained the lead for Calne only for Sam Griffiths to earned Warminster their points with a deserved equaliser.
A 2-2 draw for North Star Club at The Foresters Arms saw Liam Westland’s side drop their first points in five outings.
Dan Kirk’s goal for Foresters saw them take a slender half-time lead which was wiped out by Aaron Gardiner whose effort deflected off Harry Meakin to make it one apiece.
Joe Child put North Star 2-1 up but they were denied a sixth straight victory when Luke Maunder struck a late equaliser for Foresters.
