SECOND Division high flyers The Dursley Arms remain in the hunt for silverware on three fronts.

Almost guaranteed the Division Two title and with a Sunday Cup semi-final meeting with Deers Leap next weekend, Joe Kirkpatrick’s side booked their place in this season’s AM Print & Copy-sponsored Knockout Cup Final after defeating Premier Division Somerford 4-1 in an entertaining semi-final clash.

Jake Hiscocks gave Dursley the lead from the penalty spot. Josh Hughes got Somerford back on level terms, but the villagers went in at half time 2-1 down as Ferris Lamrabet regained the lead for Dursley.

After the break Dursley had the chance to extend their lead when they were awarded another penalty, on this occasion Hiscocks saw his effort from 12 yards saved by keeper Chris Cox.

However it wasn’t long before Hiscocks atoned for his miss when he netted to make it 3-1 and it was left to Martin Johnson to seal Dursley’s place in April’s final with their fourth of the morning.
