WITH Calne BFC in Subsidiary Cup action, The Grapes United got the win they were after at Sutton Benger that saw them return to the top of the Division One table.
A dominate first-half display helped Grapes to an 8-1 success which should have been more as they were 7-1 ahead at the break.
Nick Ridout’s double, Stuart Barber and an own goal made it 4-0 before James Weston got on the scoresheet for Benger.
A second from Barber and two Mikki Harrison goals made it 7-1.
Barber completed the scoring with third of the morning and his side’s eighth.
Honours were shared at Poulton where hosts FC Bradford came from behind to claim a 1-1 draw with Corsham Oak who finished the game with 10 men after they had Adrian Webb sent off.
Ashley Styles found the net for Bradford in the second have to cancel out Jordan Welsby’s first-half effort for Corsham.
