WITH their first-ever season in the league coming to an end, Melksham-based The Foresters Arms travelled to Warminster Wanderers for their penultimate Third Division fixture.

Like the first time the teams met it was Foresters who, thanks to a 5-1 win, took the points.

Melksham fell behind to an Alex Bates goal but got back on level terms through Sean Horobin who was to be the star of the show as he struck another three goals to claim a four-timer.

Evander Sampson’s late penalty completed the win.

Forest AFC and Calne United had to settle for a share of the spoils after the latter overturned a half time deficit to claim a 1-1 draw.

Forest led at the break courtesy of a Rob Brown penalty. Matt Fenn’s 20-yard free kick restored parity on 55 minutes.
