BOTH Melksham Town (Sunday) and Somerford kept the pressure on Bremhill View at the top of the Premier Division after victories over respective opponents Rowdy Cow Rowde and White Horse (Sunday) A.

Defending champions Melksham were almost embarrassed by a Rowdy Cow side, who played the whole game with just eight players and were seconds away from claiming a point before a late goal handed Melksham a 4-3 victory and all three points.

Rowdy Cow went 1-0 up through Jake Roberts but trailed at the interval to goals from Warren Maidment and Dan Sibley.

Rowdy Cow fought back to level via Jamel Chevolleau, only for Maidment to reclaim the lead for Melksham.

Once again Rowdy Cow squared things up, a second from Chevolleau making it 3-3.

With time running out Rowdy Cow were denied a point as a third of the morning from Maidment sealed Melksham their last-gasp 4-3 win.

White Horse Sunday A had a second half to forget as they shipped seven goals at home to Somerford FC who, after leading 1-0 after 45 minutes, were grateful to their hosts' capitulation as they ran out 8-1 victors.

Mark Nolan was on target for Somerford in a first half that saw White Horse more than match their opponents. Then, in a crazy opening 10 minutes to the second half, they were 4-0 down as Nolan, Josh Hughes and a Chris Vaughan own goal knocked the stuffing out of them.

Nolan added a third to complete his hat-trick, Josh Hughes netted his second of the game and Matt Spear scored twice before Kieron Wright on his debut for White Horse score a fantastic overhead effort to give them a late consolation.
