FOR A second successive weekend Semington FC have hit five unanswered goals in a Gooding Accounts-sponsored Subsidiary Cup Group B match.
Ricky King’s side followed up last week's 5-0 success over Sutton Benger by beating The Mallard by the same scoreline, which means that as long as they avoid defeat against Corsham Youth next Sunday they will make the knockout stage of the competition.
Richard Allum scored a cracking volley from an Andy Harrison cross to give Semington the lead and then King, in what could be his last game for Semington, scored from the penalty spot after Allum was brought down to make it 2-0 at the interval.
King then made it 3-0 when he slotted home another Harrison cross.
A second for Allum who headed home a Dan Rimmer cross took it to 4-0 before Kelvin Lockwood made it 5-0 after a goalmouth scramble.
