WHEN Sporting Box and The Mallard met back in September, it was the former who took the points from the third division encounter, thanks to their 6-1 win.

In the reverse fixture a 3-1 win for Mallard saw them avenge that loss.

Connor Dodds' goal for Mallard separated the sides at half-time and although Beau Clarke netted for Box after the break, it was just a consolation as a double from Brett Fairclough sealed Mallard’s win.

Fresh from their stunning 8-2 win over Kingfisher FC last weekend, Old Road FC picked up maximum points for a successive game courtesy of their 6-1 triumph over White Hart.

Hart were in the game at the break as Dean Fry’s goal cancelled out Matt Poole’s opener for Old Road, but after the interval White Hart tired and Old Road took full advantage with Poole scoring two more to complete his hat-trick.

James Eatough found the net twice and Max Hardman once to make up the winners' half dozen.
