SECOND Division outfit The Foresters Arms upset the formbook as they defeated first division Bath Road in the first round of this season’s AM Print & Copy sponsored Knockout Cup.
Their 3-1 victory means that they will now host top-flight Westbury Rangers in the last 16 after they received a walkover when opponents White Horse were unable to raise a team.
Tom Sigge’s goal for Bath Road was just a consolation as a Sean Horobin double and Ollie Elmes single sent Foresters through.
Pheasant were made to work really hard by The Castle Devizes before claiming a 4-0 win.
Max Wyatt opened the scoring with a stunning free kick.
A great defensive performance and countless saves by keeper Del Llewellyn kept Pheasant ahead before a deflected effort from Wyatt doubled their lead.
Nick Manifold made it 3-0 when he rifled home from a Dave Nolan cut back. At the death Nolan again assisted with a reverse pass to Rob Pocock who slotted home to seal the win.
