SECOND Division Forest AFC saw their dreams of WG Parr Trophy success ended by third division The Mallard whose 6-3 success keeps them in the Ken Clarke-sponsored competition.
Goals from Brentley Roberts, Callum Grant and Owen Gardner were not enough for Forest who were undone by a Connor Dodds treble, two from Brett Fairclough and an Aaron Hall strike.
As expected, Premier Division Calne BFC put themselves in the next round of the Parr Trophy after claiming a comfortable 5-1 victory at second division basement side FC Libby.
Matt Davis and Ally Duncan scored two each, with Aaron Clegg adding a fifth for the winners. Lewis Taylor replied for Libby.
