PREMIER Division FC Bradford have been installed as favourites to lift this season’s Ken Clarke-sponsored WG Parr Trophy following their 9-2 demolition of Warminster Wanderers.

Warminster were in contention at half-time as they trailed 3-2, with Ollie Nash and Jordan Pinder scoring for them, but a hat-trick from Ashley Styles, along with a Mark Maguire double and singles for Mike Evans, Steve Bryant, Morgan Williams and Phil Lewis completed Bradford's win.

FC St George slumped to a 7-1 loss at Calne United, Dan Brown, Cosmin Soreanu's hat-trick, a brace from Callum Horne and Matt Fenn doing teh damage as Adrian Vintileanli replied.

FC North Wiltshire were beaten 6-1 at home by North Star Club.

Cameron Lee got North Wilts on level terms after Kieron Gleed had given North Star the lead but Jake Gleed regained the lead for the Star before a Kieron Gleed hat-trick and a goal each for Pete Thornton and Alex Maslen made up the winners' half dozen.

First division Cavalier avoided a potential banana skin at third division Fox & Hounds (Warminster), who suffered a 5-1 defeat. James Stobbart netted goals either side of Leon Lloyd’s reply for Fox & Hounds in the first half.

Stobbart completed his hat-trick early in the second half. Leigh Blanchard made it 4-1 and a first goal for the club from Declan McStravick earned Cavalier a place in the final eight.

A 5-0 win for Sutton Benger over Westbury Cons’ came ahead of next weekend's league meeting between the two.

Dan Smith, James Weston, Ben Butterfield, Alex Bell and Simon McCarty shared the Benger goals as Westbury had Simon Kent sent off.
