DIVISION TWO PREVIEW: Wren seek first win of the season
2:00pm Friday 6th April 2012 in Sport
THE bottom two sides meet at Beverbrook, Calne with Wren FC hosting Miller Sports.
Wren have yet to win a game this season and it is hard to see anything other than a win for Tim Knight’s Miller side in this contest, especially as the visitors beat their hosts 7-0 earlier this year.
With Wren desperate to break their duck the result is likely to be a lot closer than before, but the outcome the same with Miller claiming win number three of the season.
Corsham United and Steeple Ashton Rangers are both very much in the race for the title which could be won by any one of six teams and may well going to the final week of the season.
The outcome of this match could see the dreams of one of the teams shattered as a defeat would seriously damage their promotions hopes.
Corsham, who edged the previous meeting, will be favourites to take the points for a second time.
However Ashton know how important it is for them to win they may just get something from the game.
