DIVISION FOUR PREVIEW: Promotion hopefuls meet at Nursteed Road

WITH the Division Four title in the hands of PSC Galaxy, the battle for the runners up spot continues.

And it could reach a climax this weekend when second-placed Fortune Inn travel to in-form Buscots, who are currently in third spot.

Should Fortune win they will claim the automatic promotion spot but if Buscots, who won the reserve fixture 4-3, take the points the battle will continue for a few more weeks.

Buscots have won eight on the bounce and are on fire at the moment, but manager Andrew Webster's perfect record since taking over from Adam Bewley could be about to come to an end as Fortune are tipped to avenge their earlier loss.

It is likely to be a case of David versus Goliath at Market Lavington, where champions PSC Galaxy host bottom of the table Spartans FC.

The hosts, who have a 100 per cent record from their 19 games, should have few problems in claiming two more points against a side who they beat 13-1 a month ago.

Mallard FC face a tough game at FC North Wiltshire for whom it is their final game of the season.

Mallard, who won their previous game against Spartans, will find it hard to beat their guests who have won three on the spin, including a 7-1 success over their guests in their last outing.

It would be a surprise if the hosts didn’t register another victory.
