DIVISION FOUR REPORT: No Galaxy upset for North Wilts

PSC Galaxy remain the team to beat as Pete Huntley’s side look to heading to the Division Four title.

They made it 14 wins on the trot following their 6-2 victory over an improving FC North Wiltshire side who on this occasion couldn’t halt a rampant Galaxy side.

Goals from Ashley Huntley and Jamie Bayes put Galaxy two up before Dan Gilbert got North Wilts back into the game before the break.

The second half saw Galaxy raise their game and goals from Ben Mason, his first for the club, Steven House, Lee Sanders and Ben House saw them coast home.

Dan Gilbert scored a second of the game for North Wiltshire who despite having Liam Ralph on top form were unable to cause an upset.

Rose & Crown FC 0 Trowbridge Town Supporters Club 5

ROSE & Crown and Trowbridge Town Supporters Club turned up at Stanley Park, only to find all matches postponed due to waterlogged pitches.

Both teams then made the trek across the county to Bratton with referee Gareth Gibbs and after an 11.45am kick-off it was the supporters’ club who felt their efforts were worthwhile as the registered a 5-0 win.

A first goal for the club from Richard Coleman put the supporters’ ahead on 15 minutes and when Dean Coles bagged his first for the club five minutes before half time the home team, who were missing a number of regulars, knew that their hard work may just pay off.

The supporters’ club, who battled for each other in what was probably their best showing of the season, rattled the woodwork four times.

But with both Coleman and Coles adding to their first half goals the points were won before Dan Stanley scored their fifth to put the icing on the cake in what really was a five star performance.

The Mallard FC 0 Crossblades FC 3

CROSSBLADES' 3-0 win at The Mallard saw them move up to seventh place and with five games remaining Tim Chilton’s side will be hoping that they can build on what so far has been a good season for last terms basement side.

Goals from Mike Booth, James Squire and Carl Jacobi earned Crossblades their fifth win of the season all of which have come away from home.
