A POINT from a 2-2 draw for Biddestone Social at home to FC Jager on a sun-drenched Thursday evening at Yatton Road was all that was needed for Ashley Smith’s side to be crowned S.K. Fruits Limited Chippenham Sunday League Premier Division champions for a third successive season.

WITH Sportzcoach Dragonz United having moved into the automatic promotion place in Division Four after their 5-1 Thursday night win over Trowbridge Town Supporters Club, Andy Rose knew that nothing less than a victory for his Old Road FC side at home to FC United of Chippenham would be good enough for them to take the runners-up up spot in the division ahead of Sportzcoach, thanks to a better goal difference.

STEEPLE Ashton Rangers secured their safe passage to the Premier Division of the Chippenham & District Sunday League with a 6-3 win against out of form North Star A at Beversbrook that saw them leapfrog Castle FC to finish as Division One runners-up to Bradford Renegades.
